Psalm 23
Almost everyone, whether religious or not has heard the 23rd Psalm, because it is quoted so often.
Let us see how this beautiful Psalm by David, actually you applies to each of us and summarizes God’s Word as well.
PSALM 23
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT.
And God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:19 )
HE MAKES ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES,
HE LEADS MY BESIDE QUIET WATERS,
I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. (Ps 37:25).
HE RESTORES MY SOUL. HE GUIDES ME IN THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME’S SAKE.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Ps 119:105).
Whether you turn to the right or the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isa 30:21).
EVEN THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL, FOR YOU ARE WITH ME; YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF THEY COMFORT ME.
When you pass through the waters, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isa 43:2).
YOU PREPARE A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES. YOU ANOINT MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP OVERFLOWS.
The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. (Ps 37:18-20).
SURELY GOODNESS AND LOVE WILL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, AND I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER.
For God so loved the World that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16).
Beloved, know that you are very special to God, and;
THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU, HE WILL TAKE GREAT DELIGHT IN YOU, HE WILL QUIET YOU WITH HIS LOVE, HE WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING. (Zeph 3:17).
