The Creator

The Creator

Throughout history, many prominent scientists have believed in God.

Far from seeing their faith as incompatible with scientific investigation, most have found the two things complementary.

For instance, astronomer Johannes Kepler believed that the same God who designed the world in a rational and orderly way also gave human beings rationality so that they could understand the world He made.

Other early scientists were inspired to practice science because they believed in God.

They thought that the natural world revealed the attributes and reality of its Creator, much like the Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Romans:

“For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made” Romans 1:20.

“Heavenly Father, we know that You made the sun, the moon and the stars. And You made human beings with a mind to understand that You, indeed, are the Creator of the world. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
